Because we employ such a demanding set of screening criteria and because we are so selective in the kinds of human interventions we seek for our portfolio, we and our donors can be confident that all the programs and partners we embrace offer extraordinary giving opportunities. Even after the selection of great partners, we work with them to develop tailored giving opportunities specifically for our donors. Before making our appeal, our partners and we agree on specific priorities that advance the program’s core objectives, then develop a budget, implementation timetable, performance metrics and a reporting plan. This results in higher-confidence, higher-impact giving than is generally possible, even in supporting the very organizations with which we partner.
